In 1986 Ferris Bueller taught us all that the dream staycation was within reach. All we had to do was stay home and take a sick day … when we weren’t actually sick!
Flash forward to March 2020 where the same “opportunity” has just been forced onto thousands of students and workers across the country. It turns out that staying home not-sick may not be as exciting as young Matthew Broderick led us to believe.

Catch up on your sleep.
Try a new recipe and put all those stockpiled goods to use!
Get a head start on your spring cleaning and organizing. Clean the whole house, one room, or just reorganize the apps on your phone. It’s all progress.
Call friends and family.
Pick a theme and have a movie marathon.
Find new music by flipping through stations and listen next recommendations from YouTube or your streaming service of choice.
